Isabella, who is the manufacturer of the Clear Coat Overglaze you are using on your brass foil and how are you spraying it on the brass? With my copper foil inclusions I use a wood dowel to roll over them like a rolling pin on a flat surface. This seems to flatten them pretty well but they are smaller than your large brass pieces. Perhaps a regular rolling pin might work for the larger pieces. You might have to roll on both sides of the sheet to flatten it. You did not indicate the thickness of the finished tile but for a 1/4" thick tile a soak of 20 minutes at no more than 1000 F would be a good start of an anealing cycle. 1150 F is much too hot to start anealing float (window) glass. The anealing cycle is really the slow temperature drop (50 to 75 degrees F per hour) from about 1000 F to 700 F for float glass. The reason for the soak at 1000 F is to assure that all the glass is at that temp to start the anealing cycle.

Best wishes,
Tom in Texas

Tom Thanks for your reply.
use clear coat overglaze from Fuse Master and I apply it with an air brush.
