New studio set up.

Post by Dave Pascoe »

Hi everyone,
I thoyght that I`d post some pictures of my new studio as I set it up.
Here`s a picture of the studio looking pretty bare but at least it`s all working now.

It`s also my first attempt to link to a photo so bear with me.

OK,that seemed to work ok.

I`ve been playing around with glass for about 18 months now. I`ve been hooked since day one and I pretty much knew that I wanted to make a living out of it since the start.
I`ve managed to sell a bit as I learned and I`m now getting regular work. It`s very exciting!!!

I think its only working for you Dave, because you are the "owner" of the album. I can't see the pictures. I think you have to adjust the settings so that others can view them as well.

I`ll post more photos as I progress with the studio, it's early days yet.
Any ideas or experiences you have to share would be very welcome.

Here's a bowl I made a few months ago.

A bit of a problem.I can`t see any way of changing the settings so that anyone can view my photos. It seems that you have to be a member of webshots to see them. What a bummer.

Benchkiln, huh. Is that where a munchkin cuts and fuses?

Nice studio. Any windows? Brock

Thanks sherNE, I couldn`t work it out!!!
Brock, Charlie is away for a bit so I`ve taken over the chocolate factory. These munchkins make good glass workers!!!!!!!!

Yeap, there`s windows down one side of the studio, really good natural light. Winter`s on the way now though so I think that I`ll maybe get a few more lights.

I need to build a couple of racks to store glass next.Anyone got any good ideas about that?

I`m trying to build in as many shelves and storage spaces as possible. I guess that it`ll take a few months to get everything sorted out.
Here`s the link to a bowl I made a few months back.--
