I will be leaving this week to go to Dallas... what should I see while I am there? I will have Thursday during the day free.

Hi Stuart,
You should go by the Kittrell Riffkind Gallery(Art Glass) on Beltline road in Dallas. (Be sure and check out the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts and the Kimball Museum of Fine Arts and Amon Carter in Fort Worth since you will be the metroplex area )
If you like good jazz, drive 30 miles north to the University of North Texas and listen to some of the best you will ever hear. (They were the first University to win a grammy for big band jazz performance). There are many, many fine galleries and shops in both Dallas and Fort Worth. There are University Art programs you may want to visit. (ie. SMU in Dallas, TCU in Fort Worth, University of North Texas in Denton). You may also want to access GuideLive.com a guide for the Dallas and Fort Worth area.
Lucky you---- wonderful Mexican Restaurants everywhere!
Have a good trip,
Terrie
