The Wine bottles fired from Paradise Paint post Yesterday
The bottles fired good no lost detail did not get a smooth glossy surface as with other paradise paint firing. Usually I go to 1400 with a 15 min soak only went to 1350 with a 20 min soak. I was afraid I could have a color shift on the paint. The paint was really thick on the bottle and that could be the reason why it was not a glossy smooth surface. As I told the artist, painting have texture to it and what make art glass stands out is the different texture it brings life to a dull smooth surface.

Nice work. Bottles can actually be used for artisic expression. cool.
A big part of the technique for glass painting that one needs to understand, is density of application. Too thin and it disappears. Too thick and it does the volcano thing.
