Does anyone know about a glass fusing class at the College of San Mateo? I met someone taking the class, but didn't get enough info, and it is not listed in the class catalog.
How about any classes in the Bay Area?
Thanks.

Sundance in Mountain View has them. I also heard that San Jose State has them, but I could never find any info on it. There's also the Crucible in Berkeley.
I'm sure there are more, but that's all that's popping into my head at the moment.

I wonder if Aanraku does classes in fusing? They are mostly stained glass, but I know they do some fusing. They are in San Mateo.

Hope that helps.

Check Phil Teefy's classes at his shop in Sacramento-
his site is: http://www.glassglow.com.
Phil teaches at many events- Hot Glass Horizons, Glass Craft Expo and knows a lot about fusing from beginning to master level. It's a bit of a drive from the bay area but they have weekend classes all the time and they have a nice set up of supplies.

Ditto Keijo's post: Phils' class at Horizons was worth the 11 hour drive for me!Keiko Okahashi wrote:Check Phil Teefy's classes at his shop in Sacramento-

You might also check out Ohlone Community College in the Fremont/Newark area. They offer a few fusing classes as well. Here's the link to their class schedule - you have to scroll down to the Art section. The fusing classes are Art 105 A, B, and C.
