E 1010 Epoxy experience

Is anyone familiar with or have experience with E-1010 epoxy. I got a small sample this weekend and am hopeing that it will be a suitable replacement for GE Silicone. The folks who gave it to me claim that it is outstanding other than the short mix life (10 min.) I an looking for placeing feet on small accent dishes. Any experience will be appreciated....
