Melting wine/beer bottles

Post by LynArts »

I want to melt wine/beer bottle in my kiln. Does anyone out there know what cone (temperature) I need to shoot for? I hate the thought of having to watch them every minute. My kiln has a kiln-sitter, but not the new computer one. I did this in a former life but can't remember what temp. was good. Thanks for any help. lyn

Click on Search at the top of the page. Enter bottle into the form. You'll get more information about this subject than you probably wanted.
