You all have been great - thanks so much for sharing. Okay, we're to the firing stage now (keep in mind I've never done this before). Now I know beads have to anneal so, my question is, the instructions say because the snowflake ornaments are small I can fire quickly to a temp of 1550, but says nothing about what happens after that - do I just shut it down and let cool to room temperature? I have a small kiln with digital controller.
Never fear guys, after this first piece I'll be off and running, but every time I work on something new to me I make some really dumb mistake and everyone goes, "well, didn't you know that....." - obviously not!
Also, I'm using thinfire shelf paper - is there a right/wrong side? I'll bet your toes just crinkle up in your shoes every time a newbie joins and asks all the same questions.
Thanks again for your patience.
