Glass or paint?

Post by camaro »

I just came back from a trip, I saw something in glass that was awesome.
I will only descripe a piece because it was so complicated and gorgeous and would be a novel if I truly explain all the details.

On this Fused glass there were clear thick solid medium( about 4") round
disks.
On these disks were brilliant colors on top and as you looked through it that same color changed to another color.
Think of a Ribbon hanging over your finger, one side and how you also see the underside.

It was to perfect to be combed and yet if it had been painted, the paints were a clear brilliant glass colors.

The name was J.Designs does anyone know of this mans work?

Does anyone know of this technique? Or Ideas of this technique?

I am now a fan of this artist, his name is different from his logo J.Designs
however I can't remember.

Would love more info on his works.
Thanks
