I just bought a cple of new stainless floral former and Hitemp1800
Sprayed them, fired them to 700.
Put glass on when cold, set in kiln with some that I have had for years, the glass on new former stuck and broke, older ones were fine.
Any ideas?
tks

Re: stainless floral former
poor coverage of the BN? Sandblast the steel clean and try regular kiln wash, a few coats.

I agree with Bert, sandblast and use kiln wash.

I always put a slightly oversize disc of fiber paper over the end of the floral former. Just a bit paranoid about the glass getting stuck.
