i have a 5" x 5" glass brick (1" thick) that i made using the stacked layers method ....
Can i go back and tack fuse things (like cabs, rods, stringers, etc) on the top surface (i want a rougher texture) ???
i am thinking yes ... as long as i keep it confined (so it wont seep) and take it slow so that all the glass is uniformly heated as it aproaches the tack fuse temps ... i figured go as low in the tack range as possible.
Any thoughts ... i am tired of smooth bricks !!
ps: along the same lines i want to try and tack fuse a 3 layer panel that i cast in a mold (with a raised relief) onto a smooth brick so i have a thick brick with my casting on top.
thanks for pointing me to any info ...
