strange noises coming from kiln

Found some inspiration....thanks for all the suggestion! Put a test piece is in the kiln....it made this beeping sound when I put the switch to on and the control panel was blinking on and off with the beeping then it stopped and was fine have it running now but what could it be? It did not give me an error sign and its a Paragon Pearl 22.

That's normal for them to do that every time you turn the switch on.

Really that's the first time in 3 years!!!!!!!!!! I think I would have noticed.

For the last year, my Olympic is now sounding the ALARM beep whenever I hit [Start], even though I have never used the Alarm function. I am assuming it's a glitch in the program because I cancel the alarm, and the kiln fires just fine.
