Attaching findings to pendants

Hi, what does everyone recommend as a good adhesive to attach findings?

I use E6000, it works and is simple to apply.

Couple of things to watch:

For pendants, roughen up area on glass plus on bail if bail is one of those that looks like a flat metal strip with a loop on top. Not necessary if you use Aanraku type bails, these are slightly concave. Sometimes I hold bail and pendant together with a large spring clip, depends on the design of both.

Clean glue area. I use acetone, I think many people use alcohol.

Do not touch glued pieces for 24 hours.

If possible, keep close to a heat source, so it warms (not heat) glued pieces.

Enter e6000 in search, pretty sure you'll get lots of information from previous posts on this board, has been discussed often.

I like it because results are good and is pretty easy to use. Cures clear. Very, very few failures.

Make sure to always use fresh E6000. I always squeeze out and discard an inch or so before using it.

I had tried a little tube of the E6000 but it just seems so stringy I had a harder time applying without getting glue all over everything. Maybe just user error

It can be stringy. I use the "toothpick and twirl" method. Works just fine for me - no waste, and I can control by sight the amount I want.

Yep, E-6000 is a (within reason) never fail adhesive if used properly. In addition it is cheap and easy to use (correctly).
