I thank you kindly! The pieces dedicated to my mother are precious to me. She had a major brain aneurysm two years ago, and is lucky to be alive. She now lives in assisted living and doesn't/can't cook anymore. She liked the piece (although she's not sure WHY I felt so inspired by her old cake decorating items; "now that's a uh......different use for those!").
I had help with the Apocalyptic photo shoot via my sister the barber (she fixed up my youngest daughter's hair for the perfect goth look), and her hubby the fireman (the torch-bearing chaperone who owns the classic roadster). Quite a departure from my true personality and demeanor....really

I can't think of a nicer way to utilize your mom's cooking ingredients (especially since I'm a type 1 diabetic so I'd never eat them!); you've elevated ordinary into extraordinary.
