I read here about file size, but no one posted this issue that I could find... I got the warning that .jpg was not allowed. I was taken back and researched it, but decided to write. Enclosed is a screen shot.

Works fine. I just attached a jpg to this post. I'm not sure why you got the error message. If you want to email me the file I'll try to post it for you and see what happens.
You need to go to upload attachment, click on browse, find the file, click Add File. You can also click Post inline to get it to appear in a particular place in a post.
