Does this fusing mold need air holes?

I plan to full fuse on the kiln shelf first, then slump into this spiral mold. The website that sells it states that fusing can be done directly on the mold, but I'm a little apprehensive about trying it the first time. Should I drill holes, and how many?

I doubt it needs holes. I full fuse onto a texture plate and there are no holes and it's fine. Also, I've got plenty of shallow slump molds that don't have holes.

I seem to recall that not so long ago, maybe a couple of months? , the someone posted here with a pic of this mold and glass with bubbles. The person had followed the instructions but it still bubbled up. The general consensus was that even though the instructions say no problem to fuse/slump all in one, it would probably be far better to do two separate processes. Good luck,

I remember this mold now. I didn't pay much attention because I have a very small kiln and this mold is too large. Does anyone know of a labyrinth type mold 6" or smaller?
