Hi, everyone,
I have had a DL 3000 for years and it has been "ok". I never thought it was very well manufactured as the parts did not exactly line up as described in the manual, but it has been good enough. I am thinking of getting a new saw and would like to know which ones people like, and why. One of the drawbacks to the one I have is that I would like more table space to maneuver larger pieces of glass without the structure of the saw getting in the way when turning the glass. Am willing to get a higher end saw if there is one that is well made and versatile. Thanks for any opinions you can offer. Michele

You might take a look at the Gemini Revolution XT ring saw. While not a band saw, it will handle very thick material (2") and do intricate cuts, especially with the double sided blade. I just got one a few months ago, and think it's terrific.
