Affixing thin pieces of glass to wood

Hi Everyone!

I have an idea for a mixed-media piece in which I'd like to affix some very thin pate de verre to wood. Is there an adhesive that is best for something like this? I may also consider cold-connections with rivets if it fits in the overall design.
