A friend gave me many sheets of tempered glass. I know if you hit it hard or brake off a corner it will explode and I have used the crumbles from this.
Now, I am wondering if this great board can give me some ideas of another way to use the glass. She had a store and there are lots of shelves.\
Thanks in advance. Georgia

Re: Tempered glass
remove the tempering with a kiln firing and then you can do what you want with it?
Re: Tempered glass
I think Morganica may have shown some gorgeous pieces, bowls etc, made from shattered tempered glass, either here or on her blog. (How's that for being non-commital, sorry but it's a distant memory, or a vivid imagination). Jen

Re: Tempered glass
Check with Barbara Cashman.
She teaches several classes using tempered glass. She has been doing so for many many years.
