Brad's drop bowl class

Post by Indigo S »

Hi,

I took Brad's drop bowl class several years ago. Could anyone, please, let me know the name of the board used for molds? And.... putting this out to the glass universe..... has anyone messed up and let a bowl drop too far? Now my vessel is trapped in the mold. I'm thinking I will have to sacrifice one or the other- unless the board is water proof. Any ideas? Thanks

Ceramaguard is the name of the board we used. If that's what you used in your failed drop, you can either break the board (pretty easy) or soak it in water until it softens.

You may be able to enlarge the opening enough to remove the piece and save the ring...its fairly soft
