toyo TB-19/600 thick glass cutter

Post by Bonnie Rubinstein »

HI All,
anyone tried Toyo TB-19/600 glass cutter for thick glass? It looks very effective, but is very pricey. Would love reviews before I buy it. Also if someone knows where to get it affordably.. thanks!
P.S. Arthritis is a drag for a glass artist !!!

Hi Bonnie, no first-hand knowledge of this model but will the cutter head fit into another pistol grip cutter you might have. Amazon Australia has the head for 42.00 AUD so it would be a lot less expensive for you.

Sorry for the multiple photos! I was not correctly using the software to attach the photos. whoops.
The name of the item is described as Toyo TB-19 Power Breaker for thick glass. Has anyone used these?

Did a deep dive.. this item was discontinued by Toyo. (sigh)
So, any suggestions out there for buying or creating a power breaker for thicker glass? The typical runners are not sufficient for me. thx!
