I have recently been given a Sentry Xpress 3.0 kiln and have been successfully using it for the past few months to make full fused, contact or tack fused pieces as well as mold formed jewelry and ornaments. I am now trying to repair a piece of bisqueware as a small piece of the ornament mold has broken off. I purchased Marx Magic Mender which requires a cone fuse in order to fully complete the repair.
All this being said, despite following the manual directions, cannot get it to show me CONE on the display screen. I can only get it to toggle to PROG or SPD. Suggestions?
Thanks
Can't get to CONE on my Sentry Express

Re: Can't get to CONE on my Sentry Express
Did you try this --
From IDLE, press START. Then using UP ARROW ONLY, go pass PROG. The next item after that should be CONE.
If you can't get CONE to work, you can still fire with RAMP HOLD. Just program the temperature you want to go to. If the temp is in a cone rather than degrees, get the temp from a cone chart. (easy to find one with Google)

Thank you, I did try the first suggestion several times but I'll try the ramp next.
