Glass tiles - what kind of epoxy to glue them to wall?

Post by deborahbur »

What is best to use to glue tiles to walls so they still look great and not splotchy or smeared?

Thanks

You need to use an acrylic cement such as TEC's Super-Flex Thinset.

white mastic. backbutter the tile to get complete coverage.

you mean the tiles are totally transparent? if so, it might be hard to make the glue/epoxy invisible.

When we tiled a kitchen with plain 5x5 float tiles, we found the best way to have no bubbles of air showing was to backbutter with a slightly softer layer of thinset and let it harden before applying them to the wall.
