Tack fusing question

Post by droutt »

New to fusing....and love it. I have a question I need some guidance on. I want to fuse two pieces of glass then slump it into a bowl shape. After slumping, can I do a tack fuse?

I want to apply some lampwork detail to the piece but I need the glass in the slumped shape before continuing.

No....adding surface decoration like little lampwork figures around the rim.

oh, so they'll be not only on the "top" surface, but going over the edge, so slumping later wouldn't work? hmm. if they're just going to be on the front/top surface, i'd fuse them on before slumping. if they're going to wrap over the edge, see what ideas some other people have about it. interesting question.
