Judy,
That seems to come with practice and going doing less passes at the beginning. I have started planning where I want the glass to come down a bit. Not always successful.

It is so great having Patty's tutorial and Brad's book and the support of each other when we try new things on our own.

Keep on combing!!!!!!

make quicker passes, and cool the fork in a water bucket between uses. it sticks because it heats up. glass won't stick to cold metal.

I had the tool soak before starting, but did not put it back into the water between combings. I'll take your advice.
