it does help a lot.
Seems that the characteristics of the glass you are using are utterly different than BE.............
1. You can hold at 1700 for an hour. My glass lost its viscosity while an hour at this temp. consequently there was a big compatibility crack.
2. You got very nice red, which sounds a great 'no no' in the books if one uses BE. I did not invent the term 'ugly brown' I read it in few places, while talking about melts.
