Can anyone tell me the firing characteristics and times for fusing with GNA 90? I am specifically interested in the thicker glass of their's. It has no bubbles in it and that's what makes it attractive to me.

I'm sure there's someone out there who know a whole lot more about this (Barbara Cashman comes to mind), but in my limited experience, GNA fires at the same temperatures as Bullseye and Spectrum. It stayed nice and shiny, too. I just couldn't find enough colors that tested as compatible, and it's not exactly inexpensive.

Whatever the glass
I never recomend temp as each kiln is different
I think more about what the glass is doing n past notes
It realy depends on ammount of glass ie layers n the actual set up
Not looked at BE recently
But was the lack of bubbles that attracted me to GNA
ITs actually the Artist range that is compatabble
GNA / Miagra is not sold as compatabble
Although I have used a few tons of it most of the old stock was compatabble
Watch out 4 the darker colours
Not bought any for some 10 or so years although I have about 1 1/2 tons left
Some secret stuff from my private archives 4 U from last year
XXXXXXXXXXXXX
desag antique 75 is now Magera (Europe ) ( in USA its GNA )
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Further to the information that you sent to me from the web-site and our subsequent telephone conversations I am pleased to forward the details that Schott Desag have responded with.
Co-efficient of expansions
Imera 90 - 96 a flat float type glass which is available in 9 colours but is not made compatable
Antique 75 Sold before 1990 90-96*10-7K-1
Magira 90-96*10-7K-1 The name of Magira in USA is GNA - German New Antique
Artista 94*10-7K1
"Artista is a closer specified version of Magira. This closer specification guarantees the fuseability of the Artista colours with each other.
Antique 75 is the old name of Magira. It was/is never made to be compatible.
When people succeed in fusing some Magira colours it happens because they have made test and the coefficient was coincidentally the same.
"
I do hope this addresses the main questions.
