Glass on Cape Cod

I'll be spending a week on the Cape in July.

Other than Sydenstricker and Chatham Glass are there any other glass places I should visit?

You might enjoy the Sandwich Glass Museum for the history of glass on the Cape. Pairpoint in Sagamore has a hot glass site though it is very very tourist oriented. All of these might be enjoyed in one extended day long trip along 6A. I hope you have a wonderful visit. MJ

Just came back from the Cape and agree with the advice you've just gotten. The Sandwich museum was great as was Pairpoint. They are set up so you can watch them doing glass blowing from a second story balcony and still be close enough to feel the heat and smell the, uhhhh, what ever it is.

The Cape is larger than I had time to explore in my few days but you've already gotten some great advice. Go to Sydenstriker on 6A for a good laugh and plenty examples of how NOT to do fused glass. Then continue out to Provincetown. It's clearly tourist oriented but there are a couple of good shops there.

I didn't have the time to get to the south shore and that's where some of the other studios are, so MAKE TIME, ya hear?
