New Skutt

Hello all. I just got a new System96 Skutt kiln and am about to join you all in the pursuit of warm glass. I have been working in Stained glass for about 22years and with retirement looming decided to broaden my horizons...this board seems to be just the place to find all the information and support I could ever want...greetings

after 12 years of stained glass the kiln has gotten me hooked on glass again.
I used the pre programed programs with the skutt for a couple of weeks and then figured out how to set the kiln at different settings it is great fun each morning to see what comes out. If you changes the temp. besure to keep notes 5 degrees or 5 minutes hold time can make a BIG differance in the glass.
