Using Overglaze with mulitply firings?

Post by Kim Bellis »

Good Morning Everyone!

This is my first time using an overglaze. The piece I am working on will take three firings. Before the first fire I sprayed Fire Master Overglaze (gave the pieces a wonderful depth - love this stuff!). My question is will I need to spray before the next two firings? I would think not - but I am famous for being wrong!

Appreciate the help and have a fun and safe holiday

I'm not familiar with that particular overglaze, but normally, the overglaze is applied only once, in the hottest firing. Brock
My memory is so good, I can't remember the last time I forgot something . . .
