Help!! I would like to reapply the label to the front of a wine bottle which has been slumped. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? I am especially interested in finding something to "coat" the label with to make it food safe and durable enough to cut on.
Thanks-
Linda

Hi,
I reapply the labels on the back side of the slumped bottle. They can be seen through the glass, and do not interfer with the cutting surface.
Good Luck,
Katy

The only viable way to put something on the top surface of the bottle, that will resist cutting and be food safe, is to paint/screen print with a food safe paint that can be fired on, or to etch a design. I know of no workable way to put the original label on the top surface that will offer the durability you need for use as a serving platter.
