I am bending glass and trying to avoid the glass striking to become more opaque. At what temp does striking occur?

It depends on the glass.
What kind are you using and what temp are you taking it to?

I don't know anything about Kokomo specifically, but years ago I saw an article in some magazine about someone's attempts to fuse and slump various stained glass. I'd personally tried slumping some gorgeous Youghigheny (spelling is wrong) stained glass leftover from my stained glass days; it struck and looked horrible from slumping temps. The writer of the article concurred that it wouldn't work because of the way these glasses are made.
You'll have to do a bunch of small tests to see which will work and which won't, I suspect.
Good luck -
