double sided texture

Post by Ann Demko »

I am in the middle of a piece that has a heavy texture on one side and a heavy design element on the other. Well actually I've gotten the design element side fused and now I want to tack fuse texture to the other side. My question is can I lay the design element side onto a bed of plaster powder and proceed to fuse the top texture without losing the design element? Will the dry plaster have adverse effects? Also, can one dust on top of kiln wash with talc or plaster to aid slumping into a bowl to keep down the drag? Thanks. Ann
