Firing BE 0301 opaque pink

I ran into a problem that I'm assuming is unavoidable, but I thought I would run it by all you smart people...

I bought an 8" x 10" sheet of Bullseye 0301 pink opaque about 3 weeks ago. Cut some strips and fired them they came out the exact color I was looking for.

This week I bought 4 more sheets cut some strips and fired them along with a couple pieces from the first sheet. The most recent purchase came out a darker color with kind of a blueish tint to it.. The first stuff came out the nice pink I was looking for..

Is this part of a manufacturing pain the I have to deal with or is there a way to tell the difference before firing? Can I ask my supplier to pick and choose the sheets they send? Or is impossible to tell?

I'm pretty much bummed out because I really need that pink I got to begin with.

Please help if you can.

Thank you very much,

Heather
