Here are some snapshots of a run we had a problem with last week. We experienced a BIG power glitch and it knocked some of the chambers off line. This CA-RED run was underway at the moment. The chamber recovered and we completed the run. The scan was okay for color but you can see that our test firings of the witness and a piece of BTC ( Bullesye thin clear) showed the coating lifting.
I took theses captures at 30 x magnification so you can see how the film breaks up when fired. The film looks normal , the big clear gaps are the lifted areas. We test fire at 1400 . They look different in intensity as one piece of glass is clearer. ( Our witness piece )
All the glass is pulled out of the system and will never see the light of day . Before you ask, It will not end up in the scrap bags either.
