Marshall Kraft Kilns - need info

I am considering a used kiln (I have never owned a kiln) & have found a Marshall Kraft Kiln. It is 22 x 22 inches, 240v, 9amp. It doesn't have a controller & the heat settings are Lo-Med-Hi. The asking price seems reasonable ($250) & it's the only one I have found locally.

Does anyone have any experience or advise re this kiln? I would appreciate any & all help.
