Artists in Pittsburgh, PA

Post by skyeblue »

I recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with my B.F.A. in textiles/fibers and a minor in metal sculture and installations. I have a glass studio at my house and have been fusing glass for 3 years. I get most of my instruction at the Arrowmont school of Arts and Crafts from a variety of well known glass artists.
As I am preparing to move to Pittsburgh PA, I am very interested in getting a job as a studio assistant for an artist in any field. These jobs are not commonly advertised in the classifieds. Even if the artist does not need any assistance, I would like to get to know them and see their studio.
Any recommendations for artists to research on the internet or contact by phone?

Hey Skye, how are you? Good to see you around. Try here:

It's mainly blowing, of course, but you might hook up with someone there.

Take care . . . Brock
My memory is so good, I can't remember the last time I forgot something . . .
