Sterling Silver Rings

Recently I purchased a dozen of Jim Berry's sterling silver rings onto which you can attach a cab.

Question: Those of you who are also making these rings, what type of epoxy are you using? :?:

I've made up about 6 just to see how the two-part epoxy I'm using is going to hold up. I'd hate to take them to a show and have the cab fall off while someone is trying it on.

I also made up two with the BondWell ($$$$$) I purchased recently at a trade show.

I have used E-6000 - scuff the glass and finding, clean with rubbing alcohol, let dry, apply good amount of E-6000 to each and let sit for a couple minutes then attach, and don't touch for at least 24 hours. Other people don't like E-6000 and use epoxy but I'm not sure which type. There's some good threads if you search for adhesive or epoxy in the archives.

My rings have hardly any overhang of glass over the ring finding and I can't get them to come off by prying with my fingers.

Judy,
Can you tell those of us who may not know who Jim Berry is, where to buy the sterling rings from? I've been searching for the same thing for ages! Many thanks

Jim is the owner of Blue Moon Glassworks - http://www.austinbluemoon.com - and he sells the ring findings.

You can also get the ring findings at http://burgardstudio.com
