Yes it will. Try and get a high carbon steel, and do the usual prepping.

It'll work for a few firings but will then start to spall.

Oh, that was funny Brock. I would like to see that in a cookbook. Take the wok up to 1325 F. slump your glass and then throw in the Peking Duck and mix gingerly. Too funny.
