Hazy look after clear cap

Post by joeat »

This is my first attempt at fusing, have read books and have been checking out the Bulletin Board Forums. Made a picture frame using Sys 96 glass, it came out ok for my first try. But i thought it would look better capped with clear glass. Fused piece again but about 2/3rds of it came out hazy, the other 1/3rd was crystal clear. What did i do wrong? Any comments will be appericated.

how did you clean the glass? Some people have had problems with one type of glass cleaner over another. I do a distilled water rinse/wipe after I wash the glass just to get rid of any residue that might be left behind from the cleaner.
