Not kiln problem- a ME problem :-)

Post by reneewri »

I posted a couple days ago in a panic because I couldn't get my new kiln up to 1500 and finally found out what the problem was! I had the meter in the back of the kiln pushed in too far- therefore metal was touching metal and throwing the whole thing off!! I actually had the kiln up alot higher than 1500, that was why the intense heat coming from the window.

I called MIke at Jen- Ken and he figured it out right away, plus gave me bunches of good tips! AAAA++++ customer service for anyone looking to buy a kiln....

:D Thanks to everyone who tried to make suggestions as to what may have been wrong
