i'm using be white opal thin on a project for a client and while i have cleaned the glass as usual before firing, when i take the pieces out of the kiln, there are some grayish/blacking bits in the middle of the piece - layers are bottome - white opal, middle - dichroic on clear thin, top - clear thin, all be..

is this a characteristic of the white opal?

thanks

Dee,
Is the black by chance around the dichroic? That happens when I use the black swizzle sticks, but I know that and use it.

well, the dichroic side is face down against the white - would that be causing it? it's a solid layer of dichrioc....
thanks
