Art 101 Gallery in Wooster/Medina Ohio?

I was just contacted by this gallery. After checking out their web site, they appear to have 1 glass artist who does not have a web site. Has anyone dealt with or heard of these folks? They sound a little scammy to me...

"How are you, my friend?" Not bad, got projects going, some teaching. Lost my last Bernese in December but the rest of the family's fine.

Hmmm... I do shows in Ohio and I know some of these artists. The ones I know are impeccable in their work, I'm going to find out what they think of it & I'll post back

I took a closer look at their application form and found this deal breaker:

Membership Pricing: Commission Schedule:

Individual: $360 thru December 10, 2011 75% net to artist
($480 after January 1, 2012) 25% net to gallery
*No annual renewal fee for preferred members *Above % for preferred members

(preferred members are our professional artists in compliance with our gallery criteria)


I couldn't find any explanation of what separates the "preferred" members from the rest of the marks, er, members.
