Using clear prismatic glass and powders

Post by Katie M »

I would like to use a piece of Bullseye Clear Prismatic glass and then sift different colors of transparent powders into the channels of the glass to create a linear pattern. I've not done this before so I am unclear as to whether I should cap it with a layer of Crystal Clear or put the Prismatic glass with powders on top of a base layer of clear and fire it that way. Any advice?

Don't cap. Put the textured glass on a base piece of regular clear glass and then sift powder on top of the textured glass. Fire to a full fuse.
