So i am building a very compicated and time consuming strip piece in a stainless steel ring......I just dropped a large drop of blood from a cut onto the already set up strips. I hate to take it all apart.....dang......do you think it will just burn off at full fuse?

No, blood contains iron etc. and it has left marks on my glass before.

Well, they say that artists ARE supposed to put themselves into their work...
I think it depends on what kind of glass you drip on, aren't some glasses more reactive to iron contamination than others? OTOH, doin' some figgerin'... there's about 0.026 milligrams of iron in the average drop of human blood. Not a lot. I'd clean off the top surface and in the cracks as much as possible, but I'm not sure I'd worry about whatever seeped down in between the strips.
(For all the times I've dripped blood onto glass while assembling I'm kinda surprised I haven't seen much contamination, especially since I'm full of irony.)

Peroxide zaps blood stains out of clothing; I wonder if you could drip a little in between the strips?
