removing grease pencil from glass

how? acetone doesn't do it very well, neither does glass cleaner. Anyone? anyone?

Usually I use a razor blade to scrape off most of it, then let the area soak in acetone, window cleaner, denatured alcohol, whatever's handy, and rub the rest of it right off.
It's a different matter if the glass has texture to it--grease pencil in roughened irid/dichro, or tight little nooks and crannies in a tack fuse is a real bear to remove.
