Uroborus Ring Mottle at Painting Temps?

it seems that ring mottles lose their distinctive pattern at fusing temps. Can anyone tell me if they will stand painting and firing temps, please, without losing the mottles? I have a tiny amount and don't want to experiment with it if someone knows the answer already. Thanks for any input. Jen
