Beautiful! I love your work with pattern bars -- you get so many gorgeous colors/patterns that I just don't see anywhere else.

Well I thank you so much . I love creating with colour bars and seem to be soooo excited about glass again. It is a wonderful feeling to be absolutely obsessed . Then my twin flameworks me some beads out of the bars tooo and I try to get movement and swirl to go with her pieces. Twins are the best. Les

Red Deer was so very wonderful . I think I have met some friends for life. Not quite enough kilns BUT still some great projects were created so I am so happy about that. Sad though that we struggled with Kiln space and ONE kiln going down and we had to be very creative and run and get a HUGE LONG thermocouple that they use in the Bronze shop just to moniter the kiln temp and stay up almost all night trying to keep the anneal and slow ramp

Looked like this the next morning for sure. BUT the most BEAUTIFUL large colour bars were created and we got to slice them all up on Thursday. Yum Yum!!!!!!!!!!!!! Les

Dear Michele,
I loved the way you described this piece soooo much and had not named it yet AND well, would you mind if I named it "ABALONE AND MAPLE" . Thank you all for the very kind comments. I am off to make another colour bar with some Coral Orange in it. Should soften things up abit. Yum! First I have to unpack studio as WHAT A DISASTER!!
