halo lustre
does anyone know if there is a current supplier? I love this stuff but have had no luck finding any in the past 2 years.

Re: halo lustre
As far as I know, it's no longer being made.
When Engelhard was purchased by BASF around half a dozen years ago, the Hanovia division of Engelhard (which made the Halo lusters) was shut down. I believe Duncan still makes some of the gold lusters, but no one that I'm aware of makes anything like the Halo.
A real shame, because it was a great product.

Re: halo lustre
I would ask if Hereaus is making it. They are currently in the Lustre business. They bought Engelhard from BASF in 2009. I see no mention of halo, but they do do marble.

I asked Heraeus a while back and they said they weren't making a Halo product. That may have changed, but I have my doubts.

Do we have any chemists in the house who can figure out how to alter an available lustre to do the halo thing?Brad Walker wrote:I asked Heraeus a while back and they said they weren't making a Halo product. That may have changed, but I have my doubts.
