Glass Weight

Can somebody give me an accurate weight on a 2" x 4" piece of glass in standard thickness (3mm) and thin (1.6mm). I've been tracking the sales of scrap glass on the Internet. Most of the glass is sold by weight- usually in 1/4 lb or 1lb increments but I have seen it sold by the ounce. Just curious to find out just how good of a "deal" they are.

because it's not perfectly flat, you won't get an accurate weight. also, some sheets are a bit thinner or thicker than normal.
nominal weight is 1.6 lbs/sqft for 1/8" b.e. glass.

Glass weighs 155 lbs/ft³ or 0.0897 lbs/in³. So a 2 x 4 x 3mm (0.118") piece of glass is 0.944 in³ x 0.0897 lbs/in³ = 0.0847 lbs or a little less than 1/10 of a pound. 1.6 mm thickness is just about half that or 0.504 in³ which gives you 0.045 lbs or 1/22 of a pound.
